  I come from NJ, the real home of diners, and it is hard to find a good one in FL. Mel's is a good diner: low pricing, home cooking style food, and fast and friendly service - minus the Jersey attitude. My last visit I had an all you can eat fried fish special for 10 bucks. It included choice of salad or soup, fries and Cole slaw. The fish was cooked perfectly and was white and flaky with a crisp outer coating. Great meal and great price.
