  I rented one of their homes, villa coral palms. The pool was cold 9 of 11 days because they didn’t maintain the water level. I didn’t know 3 inches made a difference. Their own pool guy couldn’t figure it out when he came to clean. I was charged over $200 for electricity for a heater that wasn’t working. I rented the house mainly to have a private pool, as I’d never had one before. Their pool guy said to call the filter company as it was under warranty. When Roelens didn’t call me back, I called them myself. I wanted a warm pool for my last 2 days there. When I asked about a credit for the cold pool, they gave me a whopping $5 a day discount and charged me $200. The house is beautiful, but poorly maintained. None of the sliding doors slid easily. The one in the bedroom had a large gap and it was very cold in there when the temperature dropped to 40 for a few nights. The wifi was worse than dial up, I ended up tethering my phone. The house is on a canal, there are 400 miles of canals in the town. The fishing was good off of the dock, but there were razor sharp barnacles, the only deck that had them. If someone went swimming or fell in the canal, they’d cut themselves to pieces.
